Bayou Boa (Crochet)
Biloxi, Mississippi.
Throughout the South, and especially in the swampy bayous of Biloxi and the Gulf Coast, everywhere you look are oak trees dressed up for a garden party with their streamers of curly Spanish moss. Stirring gently in a welcome breeze, the moss shifts from green to silvery gray and back again. The tendrils catch the summer rain, adding a magical little shimmer to the surface.
Yarn: Rowan Kidsilk Haze (70% super kid mohair, 30% silk, 229 yards/210m); 9 skeins each Meadow #581 and Pearl #590
